Subject: 1999 Western Section Meeting and Necrology Report
The 1999 Western Section meeting will be hosted by the Animal Science Department at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, from June 9 through 11. I look forward to seeing you at the meetings.
Host institutions are still needed for Western Section meetings for the years 2002 and 2003. If it has been awhile since your institution has hosted the Western Section meetings (or has never hosted the meetings), please consider doing so. The Western Section Executive Committee stands ready to assist your institution in the planning stages. Please contact me at your earliest convenience if your institution would consider hosting a future meeting.
If you know of a Western Section-American Society of Animal Science member that has passed away within the past year, please let me know by May 20, 1999. Western Section members that have passed away are remembered each year at the annual meeting. You may either E-mail the information to me at sdaugher@calpoly.edu or fax it to 805/756-5069.
