If you attended the 1998 ADSA/ASAS Joint Meeting in Denver, then you already know how the Cyber Cafe can benefit your time spent at the meeting. If not, read on for more information:

The Cyber Cafe will be in an area of the Convention Center with several computers linked to the Internet. We encourage you to consider ways to present or enhance your talk with the help of the Internet. Here are program ideas/examples to help you:

A meeting place for educators to look at the latest teaching innovation.

An ideal setting for extension roundtable discussions using the Internet.

An investigation of the information technology available for animal breeding.

An overview of data usage for decision-support systems.

A sharing session about remote programming.

A discussion related to the issue of class notes on the World Wide Web.

An informal place to meet.

A place to check your email and browse the Web.

The Cyber Cafe facilities will be available to those presenters who wish to use the Internet for their talk as well as to those who wish to complement their presentation with a live demonstration using the Internet.
