| Animal Agriculture Alliance Responds to JAS publication of the article "Trait selection and welfare of genetically engineered animals in agriculture.” This letter is in response to the article by Michael Greger on October 9, 2009, entitled “Trait selection and welfare of genetically engineered animals in agriculture.” This strikingly one-sided article by Greger implies that the use of biotechnology in animal agriculture invariably increases animal suffering.
