Midwestern Sectional ASAS-ADSA
Annual Meetings


If you are interested in advertising positions that are open in your company or department, or if you are looking for a position in the animal industry or academia, we encourage you to bring position descriptions and resumes to the Placement Center at the 1998 Midwestern Sectional ASAS-ADSA Annual Meetings.

The Placement Center will be located adjacent to the escalators near the registration desk at the Convention Center. Sign-up sheets for making connections and instructions for use of the Placement Center will be posted.

What to Bring

The Placement Center will offer a host of opportunities for those in search of employees or employment.

Soon-to-be graduates as well as experienced professionals are encouraged to post resumes at the Placement Center. Hundreds of companies, universities and governmental agencies are represented each year at the Midwest meetings.

Employers from industry, academia and government are also encouraged to post available positions. You can also take advantage of meeting rooms reserved for bringing together employers and prospective employees who are attending the Midwest meetings.

A Get Aquainted Room will be offered to companies and universities for informal group meetings about employment opportunities that exist and to meet a large number of job candidates at one time. Just reserve a time at the meeting, then extend personal invitations to your colleagues to stop in and visit.

A Private Interview Rooms will also be available for company and university representatives to conduct one-on-one interviews with job candidates.

Employers who wish to utilize the meeting rooms may sign up for blocks of time at the Placement Center. The rooms will be available throughout the meeting.

Employers are asked to bring 25 copies of all position descriptions.

Prospective employees are requested to bring 25 copies of brief (two-page) resumes.

Job descriptions and resumes can be posted at the Placement Center beginning at 12 Noon, Monday, March 16.
