Graduate Student Travel Scholarships Available

The Dr. Joe Fontenot Appreciation Club was established to support graduate student travel and participation in annual and regional ASAS meetings. The Club has been fully funded and will offer its first Graduate Student Travel Scholarships to the Southern Section American Society of Animal Science meeting in 2004. Graduate students presenting research papers may apply for travel support by contacting the American Society of Animal Science Foundation (Paula Schultz, paulas@assochq.org; 217-356-9050 ext 21). Scholarships in the amounts up to $300 per recipient will be available. A selection committee has been established to review applications.

Applications are due by November 17, 2003, and notification of recipients of scholarships will be December 15, 2003.
