Southern Section ASAS

2005

 

Each year the Southern Section recognizes and honors one of its members for outstanding service to the livestock industry.  Nominees must be members of the American Society of Animal Science for two (2) consecutive years prior to the date of their nomination.  Any Southern Section member defined in the ASAS Constitution and By Laws located on the web site: http://www.asas.org/bylaws.pdf is eligible.  Any active member in the American Society of Animal Science-Southern Section in good standing, except Southern Section ASAS officers, may make nominations. Self-nominations shall not be eligible.  Nominees are not carried forward from year to year; therefore, nominators should update and submit data on those previously nominated.  Nominations must be submitted to the web site (http://www.asas.org/southern/2005) no later than October 13, 2004.

 

Items to be submitted by the nominator:

 

1.                  Summary statements on work and importance to animal science and the Southern Region, not to exceed 8000 characters and spaces.

 

2.                  Biographical information, not to exceed 2670 characters and spaces.
