research achievement by young members of the Western Section of the American
Society of Animal Science. |

Eligibility for Nomination: |
1.
A nominee must be a
member of the Western Section of the American Society of Animal Science and
may not be more than 40 years of age when nominated. 2.
Nominees should be
actively engaged in basic or applied research in any of the various areas of
animal agriculture. 3.
Research activities
of a nominee will be evaluated in terms of contributions to greater
efficiency or quality of livestock production or utilization. 4.
Officers of the
Western Section ASAS, while holding such position, are not eligible for this
award. 5.
Nominations may be
submitted by active members in good standing of the American Society of
Animal Science. |

A summary statement
documenting the nature, extent and importance of the nominee's contribution
to animal agriculture not to exceed 8000 characters and spaces in length. 3.
A publication list 4.
At least 3 and no
more than 5 letters of support. 5.
One copy of a
citation of approximately 500 words suitable for publication in the Journal
of Animal Science |
