RE: Downloading files for oral presentations

All presentations for the 2009 Western Section ASAS meetings must be in Microsoft PowerPoint. PowerPoint is the only presentation software that will be available on computers in the presentation rooms. All presentations must be downloaded to CSU computers; personal computers may not be used. We must eliminate the risk of incompatibility between computers and projectors and down-time between presentations. You may email your presentation prior to the meeting to Scott Speidel (Scott.Speidel@ColoState.edu), or you may bring your presentation on computer media (e.g., CD, flash drive) to be downloaded at the meeting. It is recommended that presenters who submit their presentations prior to the meeting also bring a copy of their presentation on suitable media to the meeting as well. Please bring your presentation to the download area located in the Hilton Fort Collins on the day before your scheduled presentation time so that conference staff have time to download it. A practice room with an LCD projector will be available in the conference hotel and registration staff will be able to direct you to this room.
