Undergraduate Brochure

In the busy undergraduate world of lectures, midterms, and finals, it is easy to overlook the simple steps you can take to ensure a great career in animal science. By joining the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS), you will be connected with thousands of your peers and future colleagues worldwide.

ASAS supports your career goals by establishing formal and informal mentorships, providing online resources, and working in Washington, D.C., to advocate for your needs. Our annual national and sectional meetings give students a chance to attend workshops, present research, and network with industry professionals. We provide hands-on education for students through our meetings and the Academic Quadrathlon. ASAS works with student clubs such as Block and Bridle and FAA, and we support further education through our graduate student resources. As our field evolves, ASAS works to support your career and passion for animal science.

Undergraduate membership is free and comes with reduced registration rates for sectional and national meetings.
