February 25, 2016 – The ASAS Foundation actively supports student travel to the Southern Section Annual Meeting, as well as various student competitions held during the meeting. Here is a recap of the 2016 Southern Section awards and student competitions supported by the Foundation.
- Student travel scholarship. Deborah Price, a graduate student from the University of Florida, received a student travel scholarship to attend the 2016 Southern Section Meeting. The travel award is sponsored by the Joseph P. Fontenot Appreciation Club. Read more here.
