Student Poster Competition Results: M.S. Division

Here are results of the ASAS Graduate Student Poster Competition: M.S. Division, held Monday, July 10, during the ASAS-CSAS Annual Meeting & Trade Show:

First place tie

1st -  Abstract #71 - Effect of melatonin supplementation from mid- to late- gestation on hair growth and skin temperature of beef cattle.  K. J. McCarty and authors, Mississippi State University.

1st -  Abstract #75 - Effects of poor maternal nutrition and gender on satellite cell metabolism in lambs.  D. E. Martin and authors, University of Connecticut.

3rd -  Abstract #69 - Effects of dietary β-Glucan on growth performance, diarrhea, and gut permeability of weanling pigs experimentally infected with a pathogenic E. coli.  K. Kim and authors, University of California-Davis.
