Dr. Gary Cromwell was inducted into the University of Kentucky Animal and Food Sciences Hall of Fame on Friday, October 6. As the 2017 inductee he was awarded the coveted bronze bull. Congratulations, Dr. Cromwell!
Dr. Cromwell is an ASAS Fellow and a past president of ASAS. In 2002, Dr. Cromwell received the Morrison Award, the highest honor given by ASAS. In addition, the Gary Cromwell Appreciation Club was formed to recognize the contribution of Dr. Cromwell to non-ruminant nutrition and to ASAS. The money supports the Gary L. Cromwell Award for Research in Minerals Nutrition, which is given yearly at the ASAS Annual Meeting.
