The annual meeting of the Midwestern Section ASAS and Midwest Branch ADSA® will be held in Omaha, NE, on March 11-13, 2019.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Members are encouraged to submit abstracts of papers for oral or poster presentation. The deadline to submit an abstract for this meeting is November 8, 2018, at 3:00 pm CST. Abstracts not meeting this deadline will be rejected. All abstracts must be submitted electronically. Other criteria for acceptance or rejection will include those outlined in the “Instructions for Abstract Submission".
Presenters will be expected to submit PowerPoint slides for their oral presentations. Each session room will be equipped with a computer and an LCD projector. Additional information on uploading presentations will be available closer to the meeting.
NEW FOR 2019
- Abstract reviews will move to an accept/reject model, with he decision by the program committee being based on the simple review statement "Is there correct use of the scientific method"
- A $25 abstract submission fee will be required. The system will not let you proceed to the confirmation step until an abstract is paid for
- Abstract submission will not include requesting oral or poster presentation. Program committee chairs will determine the best venue (oral or poster) for the abstract. The only exception will be the student competitions - Undergrad poster and oral as well as M.S. and Ph.D. oral competition.
