In recognition of the travel disruption currently being caused by COVID-19, the Western Section Board met today to discuss the plans for the upcoming Western Section Meeting.
The Board has decided to suspend the deadline for proceeding and abstract submissions and will meet next week to discuss options and set new deadlines. The Western Section is not cancelling the 2020 meeting but looking at alternative times and or venues.
The Western Section Board continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will provide updates and information regarding the upcoming meeting as soon as possible.
