*Deadline Tomorrow* VOTE - 2020 ASAS National Elections

Transitioning to a virtual format for the 2020 meeting has necessitated changes to the annual business meeting and the turnover of ASAS National Board of Directors. Current ASAS bylaws did not address holding the annual business meeting electronically, so ASAS had to wait for notice from the State of Illinois confirming that we could hold our annual business meeting electronically and turn over the ASAS National Board at an electronic business meeting. Consequently, the 2020 ASAS National Board Elections were delayed and the business meeting will need to be delayed to allow for elections. We are pleased to announce that we are opening elections today (July 17, 2020) and they will be open until August 7, 2020. The business meeting will be scheduled for August 13, 2020 with more details to follow. Thank you in advance for your flexibility and understanding as we navigate our first virtual Business Meeting and ASAS National Board of Directors changeover.

As a member of the American Society of Animal Science, you have the opportunity to vote for President-Elect and three Directors-at-Large to serve on the Board of Directors of ASAS. The term of office for each will be three years. You will also have the opportunity to vote for a Graduate Director to serve on the ASAS Board for a two-year term.
