Accreditation of BS Animal Science Programs continues to move forward

The National Meetings will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn the latest steps taken towards implementation of voluntary accreditation for BS degree Animal Science programs. On Thursday, July 15 a 2-hour information session from 2:00 PM- 4:00PM EST will take place at the Kentucky International Convention Center, in room L011/L012. This session will include a Question/Answer period, an update on proposed timeline for accepting applications and steps toward accreditation, a discussion of application requirements and insight in how to begin planning and preparing to submit an application from your Program. With the Council membership now in place, the Council will begin their work at the meeting and actions of adopting and finalizing timelines, policies and procedures will start immediately. Note: This workshop is not offered virtually.

The ASAS Board of Directors has selected the 9 member team for the Animal Science Council on Accreditation from a large pool of applicants. Council Members include:
