Members of the NE1727 Multistate Research Project: Influence of Ovary, Uterus, and Embryo on Pregnancy Success in Ruminants have compiled a set of manuscripts that represents their past and current efforts defining the factors underlying and affecting maternal recognition of pregnancy and embryo survival in cattle (Mathew et al., 2022). The series includes manuscripts on impact of diet (Crites et al., 2022), environment (Liles et al., 2022) and endometrial health (McCoski et al, 2022) to pregnancy success. These manuscripts and others can be found in the Featured Collection of this issue.
