POSTER GUIDELINES

Poster instructions:

  • Max size of 46” x 36”
  • Arial, Times New Roman, or similar font
  • Minimum 27-point font size
  • Please avoid excessive abbreviations/acronyms
  • Please avoid non-standard jargon when possible
  • Please include:
    • Full first/last names of presenter & PI
    • Affiliated Institution/Organization
    • Funding sources (if applicable)
  • Recommended sections:
    • Abstract (optional)
      • If included, we recommend a bullet-point version for brevity  
    • Introduction
      • A few short bullet points of main ideas
      • Hypothesis
    • Methods
      • Generalized illustration or summary of experimental design
      • Brief bullet points or illustrations of techniques/bioanalyses (if applicable)
      • Only include statistical analyses if they are necessary to understand the results
    • Results
      • Tables/Figures of data and/or short bullet points of main results
        • Include p-values or other indicators of significance
        • Please clearly label graphs/tables/figures
    • Conclusions
      • A few short bullet points of the main interpretive outcomes
    • Acknowledgments (if applicable)
    • References (if applicable)
