We are currently working to generate funds to support a limited number of scholarships for MSc & PhD-students who have limited finance available for participation in the conference. Currently available scholarships are listed below. If additional scholarships become available, they will be announced on the WCGALP website (for organizations who are interested in providing scholarships, please contact Alison Van Eennenaam at alvaneenennaam@ucdavis.edu).
To be eligible for a scholarship, an abstract needs to be submitted, with the student as first and presenting author, through the link for submitting abstracts on the WCGALP website by November 14, 2025, and a 4-page paper by January 30, 2026.
Additional requirements include:
- A statement with the motivation for wanting to attend WCGALP2026 and for requesting the scholarship, along with the abstract number.
- A letter from supervisor stating the projected graduation date (should be after January 31, 2026) and confirming supervisorship.
As part of the conference, all submitted abstracts and papers will be judged on scientific quality for acceptance. Awarding of the scholarships will be based on this judged scientific quality, together with the motivation letter.
