Abstract Submission Information
SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT for the 2026 WCGALP meeting!
Abstract Categories:
- Oral (12 min presentation during a parallel session)
- Pitch + Poster (90 sec pitch during session + Poster)
- Poster only (Standard poster presentation without pitch)
- Invited Oral (Reserved for invited speakers)
Note that space for oral and pitch is limited and cannot guarantee that your preference will be awarded.
Abstract categories and topics
All posters and oral presentation require an abstract to be submitted
(formatted following ASAS Abstract Quality Standards).
Limit 1 poster/oral abstract per presenting author except for submissions to the "Education, training, outreach" category. A presenting author can submit one or more abstracts under the "Education, training, outreach" category AND up to one abstract under any of the other categories.
Invited talks (plenary and invited) require abstract plus 4-page paper.
4-Page Paper:
Accepted abstracts (authors will be notified by December 31, 2025) will be required to submit a 4-page paper using the same submission site and your abstract ID number by January 31, 2026. The submission site for the 4-page paper will be opened November 15, 2025. Submission instructions for the 4-page paper will be sent to all accepted abstracts.
