Dr. Jon A. De Jong currently serves as Executive Vice President of Pipestone Nutrition. He oversees nutritional and ingredient support for customer wean to market pigs and sows. Jon focuses decision making on sound scientific principles and uses applied commercial research to implement ideal practices and business decisions for producers. Jon has a reputation for listening to customer needs and meeting those expectations. Dr. De Jong is a humble leader that understands the importance of a larger organization having multi-disciplinary team members that can bring in different scientific concepts and apply them in real world conditions. Dr. De Jong is one of the most outstanding swine nutritionists and business leaders in the U.S and has played and continues to play a key role in expanding Pipestone Nutrition’s global presence. Lastly, but most importantly, Jon is blessed to be a husband to his beautiful bride of 12 years (Karis) and dad to his 5 kids (Brooks 9, Adaline 8, Hayes 5, Vaughn 2, and Mack 1).
